I led design for an immersive mixed-reality tribute to José Alfredo Jiménez, one of the most iconic composers in Latin American music. We transformed a room into a period bar where a large LED display, disguised as a mirror, became a portal to the past — using multiple cameras and video see-through AR to overlay digital content onto the physical space. An AI-generated likeness of Jiménez performs alongside visitors, bridging generations. My work spanned interaction design, spatial staging, and directing a cross-functional team of developers, video producers, and content creators.
